Lois Anvidalfarei - New Permanent Installation

Exactly 80 years after the end of the Second World War, the first monument in South Tyrol dedicated to the victims of Nazi military justice, including deserters and their supporters, will be inaugurated in 2025. The monument is located in the historic square of the village of San Leonardo in Badia. Merch Dapunt, born in Sotrú di Badia, was a victim of Nazism, sentenced to death and shot on 29 August 1944 in Corzes near Silandro for refusing to swear allegiance to Hitler's regime.
